Reminder that they need to take this, drop in the engine from the Lexus NX Turbo and a six speed, firm up the suspension, fit big wheels and brakes with sticky tires and sell it as the Corolla GT-S.

Call it a Sprinter... we’ll I guess Mercedes wouldn’t like that

That’s a whole new model. They should consider the Corolla Levin name, though.
Also, Toyota needs more credit for calling the hot versions of the Sprinter/Corolla the Sprinter Thunder and the Corolla Lightning.

Bring back the Corolla T-Sport Compressor!

iM’s already pushing it at $18k. Toyota would want $25k or more for what you’re asking, and that’s too much. The won’t build that for the same reason they won’t build a Camry that drives as interesting as it (now) looks; Toyota wants Lexus sized numbers for anything fun.

And bring back the TRD Vitz RS Turbo while you’re at it.
Because 150 horsepower Echo.

As is, it’s priced below the Focus hatch (which holy shit starts at 19,800), and starting at $25k would put it up against the Focus ST and VW GTI.

I once heard that those things drove like fast, wooly rubbish. Kind of ugly, too.

Toyota Corolla IM GTS would be quite a mouthful but I agree it should be done

I’d buy that

True but you can find fully loaded new focuses for a little over $20k. I’m actually torn between a new Focus titanium and a used 3rd gen CTS, they’re the same price right now lol

That would be exciting. However, I have a Matrix XRS so I’m torn on whether I’d like your name or Corolla iM XRS. Hmm
